Benefits from the scholarship fund

Benefits granted from the scholarship fund (FS):

  • social scholarship

  • rector's scholarship
  • financial aid

Social scholarship
 Social scholarship is awarded to students who are in a difficult financial situation. The amount of the scholarship depends on the net income per family member. The ceilings and amounts of benefits are specified in the Rector's Regulation in force in a given semester or academic year.

Scholarship for persons with disabilities
Scholarship for persons with disabilities is awarded regardless of income. This scholarship may be awarded to students with a disability certificate, and the amount of the benefit depends on the degree of disability.

Rector's scholarship

Rector's scholarship may be awarded to students who have achieved outstanding academic results, scientific or artistic achievements, or sporting achievements in competitions at least at the national level for the academic year preceding the award of the scholarship, with the exception of students admitted to the first year of study. The Rector's Scholarship is awarded to no more than 10% of students in a given field of study. The rector's scholarship is awarded to a student admitted to the first year of study in the year of passing the high school final exam, who is a winner of an international competition or a winner or finalist of a central competition, referred to in the provisions on the education system, or a medalist of at least a sports competition for the title of Polish Champion in a given sport, referred to in the provisions on sport.

Financial aid
Financial aid is financial support in unforeseen circumstances and is granted to students who find themselves temporarily in a difficult life situation for reasons beyond their control. A student may receive only one financial aid grant for the same event.
