Dear All,
In connection with the planned update of student ID certificates in the mObywatel app, we would like to inform you that some students using this document will need to update their certificate before it expires.
Students who need to update their certificates will receive a relevant notification in the mObywatel app. To ensure continued access to your Student ID, please attempt to generate a QR code yourself and then reactivate the document in the app.
The update must be carried out by 5 August 2026 at the latest.

mLegitymacja
mLegitymacja
The mLegitymacja is a document displayed on a smartphone screen via the mObywatel app provided by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
The mLegitymacja is currently the primary form of student ID. It is a separate document and is available to every student with a PESEL number. The mLegitymacja confirms student status and entitles the holder to discounts and concessions available to students.
It should be noted that the entire management of the mLegitymacja is the sole responsibility of the student, who decides for themselves whether and when to order, download, install or cancel the mLegitymacja.
The mLegitymacja can be ordered via the USOSWeb website.
The following people are eligible to apply for an mLegitymacja:
· those who have active student status,
· those who have a PESEL number,
· those who have set up and verified a Trusted Profile (Profil Zaufany),
· those who have downloaded and installed the mObywatel app on their mobile phone.
ELECTRONIC STUDENT ID (ELS)
The electronic student ID (ELS) is a document certifying student status and entitling the holder to discounts and concessions available to students.
The ELS is a fee-based document issued to students who do not have a PESEL number and to those who wish to obtain one, who already have a PESEL number.
To collect your student ID card, you must apply for it at the Dean’s Office (by the end of November of the academic year in which you were admitted to the program) by emailing your registrar, stating ‘STUDENT ID’ in the title of the message.
The fee for issuing an ELS is 22.00 PLN.
