The Association of Medical Students IFMSA
The Association of Medical Students IFMSA Poland is an organization of students from Medical Faculties of all Medical Universities in Poland. It is the world's largest student organization, which, through national organizations, includes students from 107 countries. In total, there are 1.7 million young medics worldwide within IFMSA.
Due to the scope of its activities, the entire IFMSA structure is divided into Permanent Programs: Summer Internships, Scientific Exchange, Medical Education, Public Health, Reproductive Health and AIDS, and Human Rights and Peace.
The Association strives to:
Help students acquire practical skills and medical theoretical knowledge in various countries around the world.
Bring students closer to the latest medical developments by enabling them to participate in all IFMSA projects and programs, as well as by organizing various seminars, lectures and workshops in Polish scientific centers.
To acquaint Polish students with the possibilities of studying and doing internships and placements abroad.
Provide a unique opportunity to meet medical students from other Polish and foreign scientific centers.
